L’islamophobie est en hausse en Europe. La violence islamophobe ne vise pas que les musulmans, mais aussi l’activisme politique musulman, qui fait de plus en plus l’objet de restrictions et de harcèlement en Europe.
Alors que les restrictions imposées aux musulmans sont déjà pléthoriques, plusieurs questions se posent :
– Quels sont les liens explicites entre les groupes et organisations pro-israéliennes et l’extrême-droite européenne ? Comment travaillent-elles à la diabolisation de l’islam et des musulmans tout en mettant l’accent sur le maintien et la consolidation du soutien à Israël.
– Existe-t-il une relation entre l’islamophobie et la diabolisation de la Palestine et des Palestiniens ?
– Qui sont ces groupes qui alimentent l’islamophobie, quels sont leurs liens avec ceux impliqués dans la défense de la politique coloniale israélienne ?
– Comment l’islamophobie est-elle utilisée pour obtenir un soutien supplémentaire en faveur d’Israël, et dans quelle mesure cette manœuvre a-t-elle été couronnée de succès après le 11 septembre ?
– Comment devrait-on l’aborder dans les années à venir ?
– Comment ces organisations sont- elles liées ?
– Quelle a été la réponse institutionnelle, en général, par rapport à l’islamophobie et / ou au soutien à Israël ?
– Existe-t-il une relation entre l’islamophobie et la diabolisation de la Palestine et des Palestiniens ?

Dans ce contexte, Bruxelles Panthères organise un panel Web sur le thème “Incrimination de l’activisme politique musulman en Europe ». Le panel Web sera introduit par Issam et animé par Mouhad.

À propos du Génocide Mémorial Day :
Cet événement a débuté en Janvier 2010 avec la convergence de deux idées.
Contrer l’idée que certains génocides sont plus exclusifs que d’autres et donc dignes d’une plus grande attention.
Identifier les pratiques génocidaires actuelles en vue de les arrêter.
Un des pivots de ce projet est de mettre l’accent sur le fait qu’il ne doit pas y avoir de hiérarchisation des victimes en fonction de leur origine. Nous voulons mettre en évidence les personnes et les structures de pouvoir qui ont commis des génocides et en parallèle honorer la mémoire des victimes de ces génocides.
L’initiative est britannique, mais elle se déroule simultanément à Amsterdam, Londres, Paris et Bruxelles.
Cette journée est donc organisée pour que la mémoire des crimes/génocides coloniaux, de la traite négrière, de l’esclavage reste vive et ne tombe pas dans l’oubli. Afin que ces crimes perpétrés et occultés par les « nations civilisées » soient pleinement reconnus et assumés par le monde occidental.

Criminalisation of Muslim political activism in Europe
Islamophobia is on the rise in Europe. Islamophobic violence is not only directed against Muslims, but also Muslim political activism, which is increasingly subject to restrictions and harassment in Europe.
